Amal’s journey has taken him from Brunei to Vancouver and from studying geology to exploring the biomechanics of human movement. What began as a fascination with how structures form became a deeper interest in how people heal, adapt, and grow stronger.

This led him into the fitness world, where he spent almost a decade coaching strength training and corrective exercise. Over time, he found the greatest reward came from helping people move without pain, recover from setbacks, and build confidence in their bodies. That passion inspired him to study massage therapy at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.

In practice, Amal blends evidence-informed manual therapy with practical movement strategies to help clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and build long-term resilience. His treatments are collaborative, movement focused, and individualized to support clients recovering from injury, managing tension, or working to stay active and strong.

Outside the clinic, he enjoys lifting, travelling, playing pickleball, exploring Vancouver’s food scene, and working on photography and videography. He speaks Malay and English and occasionally slips into Malay when he is organizing his thoughts.
